Ever thought about how it's to be part of a revolution? Well, maybe now's your chance to be exactly that, part of the HDTV revolution, at least to a certain degree.
In its third year of existence (Domain got registered on the 23th january 2004), HDTVTotal.com will need some more speedy hands for all kinds of creativity. Particularly to expand our international and national operations, so every language and country should apply. Until now, most of the sites content creation happened on the German part of the site. But this should dramatically change with your efforts.
There're two kinds of positions to be assigned, several editors and one manager of corporate and marketing relationships.
Editors and general helping hands
Requirements:
- Fluent English reading
We're 50/50 national/international and big parts of our sources are English, so this is necessary.
- Sufficient English writing
We've to communicate among each other, so how would you do otherwise?
- Fluent reading/writing of your native language, be it English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, etc.
- Broad interest in the area of HDTV
Some of these would be nice:
- Broad knowledge in the area of HDTV
- Good HTML | CSS | PHP knowledge
What you do:
- Scout and write news about everything related to HDTV
- Articles like reviews, reports, guides, whatever you want to come up with
- Stay in contact with interesting and international companies/people
- Attend events like Cebit, IFA, CES, whatever is within your possibilities, and do videos, photos and articles about your visit
What you get:
- HDTV will be a huge play over the next decade and you get your feet into the game. HDTVTotal.com has already a good position and will be more or less involved. Nobody can predict something, but the more it's involved, the more you're, and vice versa
- Interesting contacts and opportunities
- Some free services
What you don't get:
- Paid job
- 401k plan
- Holidays
But these points are probably not what you're looking for anyway. :-)
What you've to include with your application:
- Personal data like name, address, age
- Languages you master, and how well you read/write/speak them
- Any kind of experience/knowledge/information you think could be interesting to us
Manager of corporate and marketing relationships
Requirements:
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- Broad interest and knowledge in the area of HDTV
- Know you've good communicative competencies and this is the right thing for you
- Preferably German resident and German native speaker
- Preferably good English speaking (It may not be unlikely that you've to handle international talks)
- Preferably some first experience in the area of corporate relationships
What you do:
- You're responsible that companies, which act in the area of HDTV, will work together with us, know what we can provide them and why they should provide us with their products for reviewing
- Stay in contact with interesting and international companies/people
- Attend events like Cebit, IFA, CES, whatever is within your possibilities, keep existing and establis new contacts
What you get:
- The same as editors (See above)
- As this is the position with the most responsibilities, this may also be the first position that will get some kind of compensation
What you've to include with your application:
- The same as editors (See above)
- Tell us why you're just the right for this position
