HP, Dell back Blu-ray technology

BluRay PC giants Hewlett-Packard and Dell have lined up behind a blue-laser optical disc technology backed by Sony and others, the latest development in a simmering DVD format battle.
Last week, HP and Dell said they are supporting the "Blu-ray Disc" format, which uses blue laser light to squeeze more than four hours of high definition video onto a single-sided disc.

LG leaps into Blu-ray for high-definition TV

BluRay LG Electronics on Thursday unveiled a high-definition TV recorder that combines a rising blue-laser disc format with digital video recording.
The Korean electronics giant launched the device along with five other HDTV receivers and recorders at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The LGXBG420, based on Blu-ray Disc technology, has a 200-gigabyte hard drive--that's five times more recording capacity than traditional DVD recorders, according to LG. [...]

HDTV Total Since April 2003 when HDTVforum.de went online, a lot of things happened, Euro1080 started, you find first HDTV receivers in the stores, in short, HDTV started to make it's way into europes households. Reason enough for us to rework the forum to something bigger. And so we present you HDTVTotal.com, a portal for all european HDTV enthusiasts.

No question, that all userdata and the whole forum kept alive.

We don't want to promise too much, but we've some ideas, that we want to implement in the next time, so stay tuned. For now we wish you TOTAL information and fun with the new site! :)

Blu-ray-Recorder from LG this summer

BluRay On this years Consumer Electronics Show (CES) fair in Las Vegas LG announced the new Blu Ray recorder. The LGXBG420 with 120 GByte provides 12 hour recording fun. There will also be a larger variant with 200 GByte. Both are said to cost below 3000 dollars.
