lately I wanted to install PowerDVD ultra for HD-DVD and Blu-ray and during installation PDVD told me, that the used ATI drivers were too old and I had to update. but on Asus page for my laptop there weren't any newer versions and the original ATIcatalyst drivers couldn't be used, because asus checks the ai drivers and denies it if these are not branded for ausus.
so the DH ModTool can help you http://www.driverheaven.net/modtool/ because it patches the originalcatalyst driver in a way so that the laptop acceptes it now and so PowerDVD also acceptit and completes the installation.
